Starting the day with the fragrant aroma of my favorite coffee, which energizes both body and mind for the new day. For me, this cup of coffee is not just a drink, but a short moment to myself before embarking on the important tasks at home.
A Mission of Love: From the Kitchen to the School Gate
This morning seemed heavier than usual as my little daughter woke up to get ready for school. Her chosen menu today was a hot bowl of instant noodles. Although it's a simple dish, I prepared it with love so she could have a filling meal before school. After dropping her off, my important daily routine began.
Taking care of my mother-in-law is the main focus of the day. This includes boiling soft rice porridge, preparing lunch, and feeding her with care. These activities may seem repetitive, but for me, it's about passing on gratitude and caring for each other during the most precious time.
An Interspecies Friendship and Garden Adventure
Once household chores were done, it was time for my trusty motorbike to hit the road to the garden. Along the way, the cool breeze and familiar scenery made me unable to resist taking out my camera to capture the memories.
As soon as I arrived at the garden, the atmosphere brightened. The goose greeted us with a loud cawing, as if to say, "We missed you!" The sight of my husband affectionately cuddling the goose confirmed the priceless friendship between different species.
I quickly prepared rice grains to feed them before beginning my daily adventure: searching for duck and chicken eggs.
Although I was a little disappointed today that the locals (birds or other wild animals) had sneaked in some of the cake, leaving behind eggshell fragments by the pond, it's okay. Because nature is about sharing. After watering the plants around the garden and feeding the fish, I carried the refreshing feeling back home to open our little beverage shop.
Happiness that cannot be measured in money.
Yesterday, my shop sold 4 cups of coffee. Many might see this as a small number, but for me, it's a great source of pride. Even a little is better than doing nothing at all. This motto reminds me to do my best every day and to be happy.
