Introduction
I believe you are very lucky if you have received the love of your grandparents. My siblings and I are very fortunate in this regard because we received our grandparents’ love in childhood and still do. This relationship is truly special it is filled with affection and emotional connection.
Importance of grandparents in our lives

All of us must have heard stories from our grandparents. I have too mostly stories from the Ramayana and Mahabharata, and some about the victory of good over evil. I think all of us have heard the story of the monkey and the crocodile. I first heard it from my grandfather. These stories always teach us something valuable. They instill good values in us, teach us to respect our elders, awaken a sense of service within us, and connect us to our culture.
Speaking for myself, I enjoy talking to elderly people because those conversations help me understand the society of their time. Since I am a student of history, I find this especially interesting. If you look at it, society was very different 25 years ago, and even more different 50 or 60 years ago. Society is changing rapidly because technology is evolving quickly, and with that, people’s lifestyles and needs are also changing fast. So, whenever I sit with my grandparents and talk to them, they enjoy it, and it also brings back their old memories.
