A shot from one of my walks

In the Beginning
At first, I just used to wander around in the evenings, going with the wind but on this particular day, I came across a very beautiful garden.
It was clear that I wasn't supposed to be there because the place looked like private property but I just couldn't help it. The flowers were brightly coloured and neatly trimmed. The environment was serene and quiet(a break from the loud noise I hear everyday). Everything looked so perfect. I automatically loved the place.
Whenever a friend visits and wants to take a walk, I'd gladly lead them to 'my mysterious garden'. I grew so fond of this garden until the day I was confronted by security. The security man was unusually very calm. He told me that it was private property and I shouldn't be caught trespassing (why would they keep such a place private?). I took his advice and stayed away. This was the first heartbreak I got from 'walking'.
The second heartbreak happened on the day I decided to hike through a different route. I kept going and everything was alright till I got to this building. It was a hotel. The first thing that attracted me was the water fountain on the roof. I felt that was creative and different.
In the course of me trying to admire the paintings and markings on the walls outside the hotel, the gate was opened. I paused in track and then looked around, I met a pair of eyes glaring at me. The sweat of embarrassment dripped down my spine. I greeted him and went on my merry way. I felt really embarrassed though because it seemed like he had been staring for a long time before he took action by opening the gate.
Each time I take a walk, I always look out for intrinsic details in everything I see. I have a habit of seeing beyond the surface and that has helped a lot. I love greens and basically natural things. It helps with reflection.
Personally, I feel that walks taken alone are good but walks taken with another person are great. You get to share your view with the person, and it doesn't even feel like you're walking because you're more interested in what the other person has to say.

Till date, that garden holds the record of my favourite walking spot because I've seen nothing like it. I plan on going back there someday and if I do, I'd do well to share my experience. Hopefully I don't get arrested 😅 (the things we do for love)
