So I didn't drink much during Christmas Eve, Christmas or after... but I feel like there was a bit of a hangover. I don't really drink much at all but this was not an alcohol-based fuzz that settled in a couple of days after the big day(s).
First off... there was Christmas and Christmas planning that was done a month or more in advance. Then there was Christmas shopping and stationarey shopping. Christmas shopping included all the stuff Claire would need for all the food she would make for Christmas.
The way Claire has always done it, the Christmas dinner is on Christmas Eve and then Christmas morning we unwrap presents and then Matthew goes to his dad.
And so it was. Claire's mom and my mom and her husband were there along with our kids and that was already enough excitement.
After that, came the unwrapping. I think the kids got pretty well gifted with all sorts of things.
Claire also had quite a few gifts under the tree. She was very tired already but I can see she appreciated it.
And then came leftovers for another 4 meals from that Christmas dinner... so we ate from it like... 5 times. None of those times were there any heavy starches. Mostly meat and veg but also HEAVY stuff.
Good... but wow... heavy and rich.
Perhaps that contributed towards the general fuzz I felt afterwards.
Yesterday I started to feel a bit normal again and started to actually DO stuff again. I have plans, lots of them... I have things to build and models to paint and videos to make for my Youtube.
I don't have much money to go out and do things, but I have PLENTY to entertain myself at home!
Anyway... need to go out now and run an errand to Seapoint.
