Sure. There's a difference. Living requires thought. Living focuses on the future and remembers the past. Living involves the essence of life. Living requires a soul. And most of all, living requires the examination of oneself, and of one's life. Socrates said the Life unexamined is not worth living. This requires that we ask ourselves hard questions. What did I do today? Did I accomplish something or do something good today? Is my life important to myself and to others? What is the impact that I make?
