Our little rescue, Orbit, is a terrier in every way.
The bunnies that live under the shed have endured a lot of heart-racing chases in the early morning and late night hours.
Often in the summer there are chipmunks around the gardens and he will follow that scent all day.
This time of year the mice are trying to find food and warm spots to snuggle in.
After our last snow storm, Orbit (and our pug, Freyja) have not wanted to be out much unless it's for a quick snowball fetching session.
But the snow has been melting as the temps have been up in the low-40s the past couple days.
Yesterday Orbit caught a whiff of, I'm guessing a mouse, and was immediately put in a trance and had his face in the snow for a solid 5 minutes.
Yelling 'Cookies' was the only thing to distract him!
He's a pain in the ass a lot of the time, but we love that little rascal!
