Greetings friends 😊🥰 in my today's blog I will like to talk about my colic experience and how my baby is coping so far.
One of the things that dread almost all new parents is Colic. There are nothing brakes a mother's heart like watching her little angle cries most of the nights without heading to her pampering.
I had thought of this many times even before I become a mom, I had imagined how I will feel if I won't be able to put my little one to bed because of stomach pain that no one knows it's specific cause.
I had wished the night never come and I will do anything possible to not see my baby in such a condition.
So, during my pregnancy, I had follows all doctor's appointments and instructions. I took my diet and vitamins very seriously, as I wouldn't want to be the cause of my baby's discomfort in his few months into the world.
Colic usually occurs in infants between the ages of ten days and three months of age. While no one knows exactly what causes it, colic seems to produce rapid and severe contractions of the intestine that probably are responsible for the baby’s pain. The discomfort often is more severe in the late afternoon and early evening and may be accompanied by inconsolable crying, pulling up of the legs, frequent passage of gas, and general irritability
A lot of my women's forks told me tales of their bitter experiences and I can't help but feel bad for them.
Some of my friends have told me to just be prepared just in case. Losing my sleep is not what is bothering me but watching my little one in discomfort will break my heart. There is great joy in knowing my little angel sleep soundly through the night.
our Experience, A Month Plus so far
Nature has been very kind to us, my baby sleeps soundly at night he only wakes up to breasts feed.
About a few times a day when I noticed that he is feeling stomach discomfort all I will do is pat him through his back 'gently' he will sometimes pass out gas and be fine.
This has been greatly helpful, as it eases his pains and gives him more comfort.
So far we have been surviving the colic perfectly without losing sleep and I hope the next few months can be very kind to us.
