In case you missed the beginning of this tribulation, on Wed, 2 days ago, I got the first shot of the Pfizer vaccine.
I did not need it because I am still carrying my own immunities from having overcome the virus last YEAR, but the "Almighty Covid Card" overwhelmed my better judgment.
Within 6 hrs, I was becoming very sick.
My body was wracked with pain and muscle spasms, I had a 2.2° temp above my normal, I got almost NO sleep that night.

I tried using my TENS unit (mine is not like the one in the pic) to relieve the back and hip pain so I could rest.
I tried these Lidocaine Patches, they may have helped a bit, but it was still almost 5 am before I could get anything that might resemble rest.
Then the joint aches set in, both shoulders, both elbows, both hips, both knees all throbbed and ached.
I thought I was getting a sore throat, but have decided that it was the same muscle soreness that I was experiencing on the outsides of my thighs (Gluteus Medius, Vastus Lateralis), and I had a SPLITTING headache.
I didn't get out of bed yesterday until almost noon.
I dragged around in the house, I did manage to get my watering done.
So last night, I ate a light supper, had a couple of mixed drinks, finished an episode on Netflix, then went to bed, read until about 10:30, then went to sleep.
This morning, I woke up at 4:30 am.
I feel about the same as I did when I got up on Wed morning.
Now I am worried, everyone who has recounted their experiences with this vaccine has said that they had a MUCH stronger negative reaction after the second dose.
In the US, for me to be considered FULLY VACCINATED, I must get the second dose.
I would like to get a blood test soon to compare my antibody levels with what I had PRIOR to this injection (one of my fears from the beginning)
So there you have it. Were I in Europe, I would already be considered fully vaccinated, because I had the post infection antibodies, and now one dose of a vaccine, but NOOOooo... in the United States, YOU MUST OBEY!!
