Hail to the Hive!

One of the things that always makes me smile when traveling in places like Jamaica 🇯🇲 is the healthy disrespect for the rules. ‘ ya can’t tell me nuttin’ is a phrase I have heard a lot over the years of living, working and visiting here.

So when we checked into our hotel yesterday I took Imlittle wander around to bet my bearings and came upon this sign.

Seems fair enough on the face of it. Cliff front hotel. Could be a bit hazardous ⚠️ so yeah, don’t be jumping off or diving off these cliffs ok?!

And then just before sundown a gang of youths come with their tourist hustle jumping off the very same cliffs and getting tipped for it.

They were pretty good I have to say. Much better than the overweight drunk foreigners attempting it the following day 🤣.

I have a lovemof underwater, as some of you may know, but a healthy fear of heights so I’ll be following the rules here me thinks 😉.

This is definitely not where my skills set lies 😄
