Carlitos despertó una mañana soleada de abril entre el susurro de la suave brisa, que mitigaba el calor sofocante, y el cantar de los ruiseñores que se agolpaban a su ventana. Sumergido en su mundo de pensamientos bien guardados, soñaba con volar libremente como los pajarillos que cantaban en su jardín.
El abuelo estaba en su vieja mecedora degustando su café matutino cuando Carlitos muy sigiloso y callado se le acerca y le preguntó:
- Abuelo tu crees que yo podría volar como los pájaros?
El abuelo lo ve y sonrie, luego le contesta con una palmada en su brazo,
- Claro que sí hijo mío, podrás lograr todo lo que te propongas, el poder está en tu mente y si te esfuerzas en alcanzar lo que quieres siempre lo lograrás. Para eso existen los parapentes, es como un papagayo ( cometa🪁 ) gigante al cual te subes y te permite volar. Eso sí, no lo podrás hacer solo ya que es muy arriesgado, pero hay personas que te podrían acompañar en el vuelo.
El niño alegre y con su mente soñadora le dice,
- Voy a hacer una cometa 🪁 tan gigante para volar por todo el mundo, llegaré hasta la luna y conoceré el planeta del principito.
El abuelo suelta una carcajada, y le dice:
- Hijo, no es tan fácil pero tampoco imposible. Te prometo que cuando bajemos a la ciudad te llevaré al lugar donde vuelan esos aparatos. Eso sí debes tener nervios de acero y buena concentración para poder disfrutar del paisaje mientras vuelas.
Carlitos apresurado y con su mente en ese enorme papagayo 🪁 le responde,
- Lo haré abuelo, lo haré, tu mismo has dicho que el poder está en la mente.
Ese dia Carlitos pasó toda la tarde hasta el anochecer dibujando enormes cometas con él sobre ellas volando por un cielo infinito, estaba tan feliz con la ilusión de que podría realizar su sueño.

A veces creemos que hay actividades que una persona con autismo no podrá realizar nunca, pero ellos mismos nos sorprenden con tantas hazañas que realizan a diario. El poder de una mente azul es sumamente poderosa, tan solo con un poco de ayuda y orientación ellos podrán lograr sus anheladas metas. Por eso debemos darle todo nuestro apoyo para que puedan romper esas barreras que muchas veces la sociedad les impone. El vuelo en parapente es una actividad que en muchos países se está desarrollando para personas con trastornos del espectro autista.

Flying a sky without limits
Carlitos woke up one sunny April morning to the whisper of the gentle breeze, which mitigated the stifling heat, and the singing of the nightingales that flocked to his window. Immersed in his world of well-guarded thoughts, he dreamed of flying freely like the little birds singing in his garden.
Grandfather was in his old rocking chair sipping his morning coffee when Carlitos very quietly and stealthily approached him and asked:

Of course, you can not do it alone because it is very risky, but there are people who could accompany you on the flight.
The happy child with his dreamy mind tells him,
- I'm going to make a kite 🪁 so giant to fly all over the world, I'll get to the moon and I'll get to know the planet of the little prince.
Grandpa lets out a laugh, and says to him:
- Son, it's not that easy but it's not impossible either. I promise you that when we go down to the city I'll take you to the place where those apparatus fly. But you must have nerves of steel and good concentration to enjoy the scenery while flying.
Carlitos in a hurry and with his mind on that huge kite 🪁 answers him,

That day Carlitos spent all afternoon until nightfall drawing huge kites with him on them flying through an infinite sky, he was so happy with the illusion that he could realize his dream.

Sometimes we believe that there are activities that a person with autism will never be able to perform, but they themselves surprise us with so many feats they perform every day. The power of a blue mind is extremely powerful, just with a little help and guidance they will be able to achieve their desired goals. That is why we must give them all our support so that they can break those barriers that society often imposes on them. Paragliding is an activity that is being developed in many countries for people with autism spectrum disorders.
