En principio este material fue con la finalidad de estimular el sentido del tacto y mejorar la motricidad del gran Keko. Es de mencionar, que con este recurso además de trabajar la motricidad en el pequeño también se estudió los colores primarios y la importancioa de conocer e identificar ciertos animales.
También fue una herramienta muy útil para enseñar a Isaac operaciones lógica-matemática como sumar y restar.
