Hola amigos de este maravilloso 🌎 mundo azul.
Lo prometido es deuda. Hace unos dÃas les dije que iba a contarles sobre un momento feliz, otro realmente en la vida de mi hijo.
Pues, luego de haber presentado el corto de animación sobre los elementos quÃmicos, lo invitaron a participar en la premiación del concurso de dibujos Los mil Elpidios.
Como no habÃa convocatoria para corto de animación, David no tenÃa competencia, aún asÃ, el comité organizador del Festival de apreciación cinematográfica Cinemazul, decidió que era novedoso y único, además hecho por un niño y era necesario que él hiciera la presentación, además que hizo el debate y contestó a las preguntas que le hicieron.
Entonces me llamaron de la Empresa del cine para informarme que David era invitado para el taller Los mil Elpidios, la gala para los niños dentro del festival, y es que ellos, los niños, también merecen el espacio.
La gala fue conducida por la payasa Tonguita, personaje con quien trabaja David en la televisión de mi ciudad cada vez que es invitado al programa para niños.
El momento en que ella, Tonguita, lo llamó al escenario, David no sabÃa que hacer, por suerte, minutos antes que comenzará la gala, yo le habÃa dado un recorrido por el interior del teatro y le habÃa enseñado las escaleras.
Entonces él subió y mi orgullo fue enorme. Tanto asà que no pude tomar fotos. Las imágenes las hizo una amiga, por tanto son de su propiedad, claro, ella me autorizó a usarlas.
Le otorgaron una mención especial, y eso fue maravilloso, aunque él no estuviera concursando. Fue una forma de hacerle sentir a mi niño que lo que está haciendo es bonito, de agasajar su alma de niño.
Y es que David es tan sensible, que me pidió que lo llevara a ver a un amigo para contarle. Lo que David no sabÃa que Jorge Luis Smith, este amigo, fue quien hizo el diseño del logo del festival, que además era el director del teatro donde él recibió está felicidad.
Mi niño tuvo una tarde llena de sorpresas y alegrÃas y lo mejor de todo, sucedió por ser él mismo y no escudarse en ningún disfraz para encajar en un grupo.
Yo estoy emocionada y querÃa compartir con ustedes este momento.

A promise is a promise. A few days ago I told you I was going to tell you about a happy moment, another truly special one in my son's life.
Well, after presenting the animated short about the chemical elements, he was invited to participate in the awards ceremony for the Los mil Elpidios drawing contest.
Since there was no call for entries for animated short films, David had no competition. Even so, the organizing committee of the Cinemazul Film Appreciation Festival decided that it was innovative and unique, especially since it was made by a child, and that it was necessary for him to present it. He also participated in the discussion and answered the questions posed to him.
Then I received a call from the film company informing me that David was invited to the workshop The Thousand Elpidios, the children's gala within the festival, because they, the children, also deserve their own space.
The gala was hosted by the clown Tonguita, a character David works with on television in my city whenever he's a guest on the children's program.
The moment she, Tonguita, called him to the stage, David didn't know what to do. Luckily, minutes before the gala began, I had given him a tour of the theater and shown him the stairs.
Then he went up, and I was incredibly proud. So much so that I couldn't take any pictures. The photos were taken by a friend, so they belong to her, of course, though she gave me permission to use them.
He received a special mention, and that was wonderful, even though he wasn't competing. It was a way to make my son feel that what he's doing is beautiful, to honor his inner child.
David is so sensitive that he asked me to take him to see a friend so he could tell him. What David didn't know was that Jorge Luis Smith, this friend, was the one who designed the festival's logo, and that he was also the director of the theater where he received this wonderful news.
My little boy had an afternoon full of surprises and joy, and best of all, it happened because he was himself and didn't hide behind a costume to fit in with a group.
