Hello dear friends at Hive. After some time away, I hope you are all well. I wanted to share with you how my little cacti 🌵 have grown against all odds.
The curious thing about life is that when it is meant to be born, it is born, even in the least appropriate conditions. Nature in its splendor is the strongest example of life I know. It is capable of being born and growing anywhere. Feeding us with its oxygen. Strengthening our spirit with its example.
These particular little friends are strong plants that require little watering, thanks to their fleshy stems and thorny leaves, which retain water longer, so constant watering is not necessary. However, keeping an eye on them is essential to keep them beautiful, ensuring they don't get more sun than necessary so they don't dry out, or too much water so they don't rot.
Because of their appearance and resilience, they tend to be seen as examples of strength, steadfastness, and perseverance. I think they are an ideal example; they are living proof that when you want something, you can achieve it. In fulfilling other duties, I have neglected them a lot, which I am not proud of in the least, but against all odds, they have grown, become stronger, and given me a slap in the face of courage and reality. Yes, we have been able to do it with little attention. How can you not do it when you are so focused? Sometimes we forget how strong we can be, and that perseverance is the key to achieving it, staying firm in our purpose. Seeing them this morning, I remembered two very important things.
The first is that I must be more responsible with them; they are part of my environment, my ecosystem, and my family. The second is that no matter how difficult things may seem, even if I am alone or have support, if I want something and I try hard, I can do it. I just have to be consistent and find a way. I hope that when you see these photos, if at any point you doubted your ability, just like I did, you will feel that message of encouragement, of life, of hope, of the beauty of nature in its simplicity. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Blessings 🙏✌️
