I'm able to look back at my past and pick out many occasions in which I've run into a wall or, at least what seemed like a wall at the time; I'm speaking figuratively of course and really just mean moments when forward progress stops and the road ahead seems impossible to follows due to complications, fear, and other such barriers that cause a person to simply stop in their tracks.

Life is always going to place obstacles in our way, I don't know anyone who has had none, however they don't need to stop our forward journey and running into what seem like insurmountable obstacles doesn't mean we have to stop completely, give up and turn around. It's actually an opportunity to pause and think, to find out how to overcome the issues, climb the wall, go around it, underneath it or simply tear it down.
Focusing on the wall, the barrier or obstacle, isn't the best way to overcome it; that's almost admitting defeat before even trying to find a better way. Focusing on the issues we face, the roadblocks, and determining solutions to them and finding forward momentum is much more positive and a better use of energy because it takes the reality of the situation and redefines it causing internal change within us; this thought process helps us to expand our mind and ideas and allows alternatives and solutions to come.
Each and every wall, the problems, difficulties, adversities, tribulations and negative occurrences we face is not a wall at all, it's a gateway to something different, to a better path and usually a better life.
