We each have perspectives, opinions, impressions and thoughts on the things around us, the past and what might happen in the future and depending on our location, upbringing, social-economic demographic, intelligence, past experiences, influences and other factors our opinions and perceptions can align or be poles apart.
My man and I have opinions and perspectives that run parallel and in the same direction, on most things anyway, and the areas in which we don't align are small things having no real consequence on our lives together or individually. One thing we certainly agree upon though is that we don't believe society is headed in the right direction.

We were recently speaking about the shape of things to come mostly in respect of our own futures but, because we live on planet Earth with everyone else, what happens in our country and globally effects us whether it's an economic or environmental thing, societal, political or otherwise; this means that even despite our best efforts we can never fully predict exactly what we will need moving ahead into our future because we could never predict the world around us.
We are both in agreement that the shape of things to come is going to be very different to the present moment and most definitely different from how it's been in the past and we're working hard to plan ahead at the same time as living in the present moment and to taking as many factors into consideration as possible to future-proof our lives for lack of a better way to put it.
I don't know what you think the shape of things to come may be in your location and the world as a whole however I believe it will be a tougher place to live and without preparation people will suffer far more than they do now. It's quite sad and disappointing but that's how we see it and it's for that reason we are focused on living our best lives now and into our future.
