There have been several anniversaries in my life, celebrating and rejoicing, but somehow this jubilee, when I am preparing candles for my birthday cake, on which two numbers 5 and 0 will appear, along with two sprinklers, is one of the most impressive.
Half a century.

It's not a little, and yet, it seems to me that it passed in an instant...
I am aware that this first half of my century is the only whole that I have completed, that is, I do not think that I will celebrate all the next 50 years, as I celebrated these 50.
Fuck it, I'm not a tortoise from the Galapagos, so if I live over 100 years, I'll try to celebrate them even more and mark a few more anniversaries for which I'll put a 0 at the end of the birthday cake 🙂
There is a saying: It doesn't matter how long you live, but how good is the life you live...
I'm not a psychic (nor do I believe in their work) so I know how many years my life will last, but I'm sure, I'll try and do my best to spend my new day as well as possible.
So how long does it last...
Today and tomorrow (this whole weekend), I will have a fantastic #weekend-experiences.
It started right away this morning, when I woke up, I was greeted by a birthday breakfast and a small homemade cake (the recipe of which I will share with food and candy lovers at some point).

Cheesecake with pistachio cream, perfect taste...
I didn't have candles for this cake, the ones from the beginning of the story are going tonight on the cake I ordered at the restaurant where I will welcome guests.

I believe that I won't be able to participate in #beersaturday, although I may drink beer, I won't have time to write about the tastes and my impressions, so I will greet all my Hive beer drinkers with a Cheers.
Tonight I am expecting a lot of musical numbers, songs and stories with the guests, my friends whom I have known for over 40 years (who are entering the 50-year-old club this year), where we will remember our experiences from our youth and enjoy food and drink.
PS. Only when I photographed the candles, I saw that they are so-called "magic candles", those that, after being extinguished, light up again...

So, when it's time for the cake, we'll have a little joke in the restaurant. When, even after blowing and extinguishing several times, I do not manage to extinguish the candles, I will invite all my guests to, as one great team, successfully extinguish them by blowing them out.
I hope we will succeed in the end, because if we don't manage to put them out, we won't be cutting the cake until an hour later when the set of candles burn out 🙂
