If Hive was a centralized social media platform, it would've already been shut down. We're more resilient because there's no CEO who can fire the devs and turn off the servers.
A reasonable valuation would be based on the chance that Hive does become popular enough to have a network effect - people signing up because others they know are here. Assuming a 1% chance to reach a $1 billion market cap, I'd value it at a $10 million market cap, which corresponds to a price of 2 cents.
