This afternoon i was riding my bike with him back from work, so he did something i also wanted to try but failed, my friend Richard has actually been ridjng his bike for long and apart from that he's a stunt rider, and so he made his bicycle that way, mine isn't cause i'm not a stunt rider but a road racer, like i do long distance, back to what my friend did, While riding free hands, along the streets he would run through speed bums without breaking or hold the wheel, just run through, i'm not a stun rider as i said but i was willing to, so i decided to follow him , i can ride free hands as well but not running through speed bums without breaking or controlling the wheel to ease the shock, while i tried, mind made up to ramp through, at that point i panicked and i almost fell off my bike.
He's been doing some crazy stunt when we're riding together and i'm tempted to do same, lol, but no i won't so that, to avoid some stories that touches the heart, i would say i'm more like a learner, when it comes to stunt performing
Of course there are different categories of bike made to serve different purposes for instance BMX bikes are basictically stunt bikes, which is very good for starters, not like most mountain bikes like mine,
About safety which is the most important features one must adhere to, when riding, we might not really understand the big role they play to keep us safe from harms way, injure and unnecessary expenses,
Few days ago i was involved in an accident that almost broke my wrist because of some careless mistake
Cause of my rear wheel was giving me issues so i had to disengage the rear brake till the rear wheel is straightend, because of these i was managing only the front wheel, which is very wrong for express riding,
After the accident i had to take my bike to my engineer to service and to fix the rear wheel and brake, and also got these safety features helmet
What inspired me was this dude i saw the bikers who was on his full bikers, i know he was on a long journey on world bikers day, even tho i didnt have enough i juat had to start acquring some stuffs
I'm planing to buy head and rear lights next,
