There is something happening in the world, but many times we don't realize that everything is evolving, but there is a certain emotional lag in the digital evolution we live today. The more technology and social networks emerge, the more we are filled with anxiety and despair, and we disconnect from the natural world. It's hard to feel good in a world that seems to seek perfection in everything. We constantly come across images of people traveling the world, we come across dream couples where problems and differences seem to be nonexistent. We see perfect bodies and daily routines, incredible lifestyles, that when we see ourselves in the mirror we feel we have failed. We see other people's houses, mansions and dream places, and turning around we see where we live and it seems that we automatically feel a fiasco with ourselves.
Many times we read success stories where we are led to believe that true satisfaction is behind the material, the latest model car, an extravagant account of those exclusive brands and no matter how much we deny it, we tend to compare ourselves with others. When we see that we don't have everything they show us and sell us, when we don't have that life, that dreamed body, that car we want so much or that lifestyle, we tend to feel like failures and we stop valuing what we have and we only focus on what we don't have, and that hurts us and makes us unhappy. Therefore, we should not believe in everything we see on social networks, they do not sell it as authentic and unique, when the reality is not so. We have made a grave mistake by spending most of our time consuming stories of totally unknown characters that we may never see in person. That's why we shouldn't feel inferior or superior to anyone, because what we have and who we are is beautiful, and that's what really matters. Therefore, it is time to stop focusing on our shortcomings and stop comparing ourselves with others, and start once and for all to be more grateful for what we have, with what we have achieved and are going to achieve, because our story is not over yet and it doesn't matter how old we are. What really matters is how we feel about it. The real world is not made of stories with perfect people, but with people like you and me, with people with failures and successes, with attempts and mistakes, with defects and virtues, but also with the simplicity that characterizes us as people, that makes us real and authentic. Let's value the small details and things of our daily life that we often ignore and maybe tomorrow we will miss, understanding that our life is more beautiful than we imagine.

Life is ironic, we are connected to people on the other side of the world, but disconnected with those who are closer to us.
