IF IT DOESN'T excite you, it's not for you.
Hi, there. I'm Favespills. And since I'm new here, here's something about me that led to some reflections today.
So, I'm a writer, and a podcaster.
I run a weekly podcast titled Chilling with Favespills where I talk about random relatable abd thought-provoking issues.
So today, I was scripting this week's episode of my podcast "Chilling with Favespills" when I realized something.
While I scripted, I kept on beaming with smiles at intervals.
Each time I get a new idea to input in the script, I get filled with a sort of unexplainable happiness and my lips draw up in an involuntary smile.
I wondered why that was happening.
Then it hit.
I realized how much joy my podcast gives me.
I realized that even with all the work that goes into its creation, my passion for it keeps me going, prevents me from getting tired, and makes me want to keep on doing it.
Keep on creating.
Keep on being creative.
Keep smiling at the intriguing ideas that brew in my head during creation.
And keep looking in awe at the finished product, asking myself "Did I really create this?"
Here's something you should pick up from this post:
If it doesn't get you hyped up, it's not for you.
If it doesn't get you excited, it's not yours.
This could be about a job, an act, a book, a movie, a person, or even the person you plan to spend the rest of your life with.
You either work on finding passion and love for it.
OR
You ditch it and find something that excites you.
The latter is usually more effective, though.
But, whichever step you take, I hope you find that thing that lights your heart up with joy and makes your smile stretch from ear to ear even without you noticing.
