Home nudists

That's two words I've never put together before but recently I had cause to do so. I have a mate who, along with his wife, call themselves home nudists because when they are in their home they do not wear clothing.

I've known the guy for almost 25 years and never knew this about him - he told me he doesn't tell people because he thinks people will find it weird - but he confessed a little while ago and you know what? I don't think it's weird at all...he and his wife are just being themselves and if one can't do that in one's own home then where can they?

Clearly they do wear clothing when they prepare to go out or come home or are working in the garden at the front of their house, but mostly they live in their home without any clothes on. This means when cooking, eating, doing chores, in the back yard, watching TV, working (he has a WFH job) and pretty much whenever they are home with no guests or in the front yard. His reasons are that they simply feel more comfortable and relaxed. I get it.

He also told me that he enjoys watching his wife in that state, and vice versa, and I get that too because it's the same for me with my own partner. We're all pretty fit people and are quite in love with our respective partners so seeing them or being seen without the accoutrements modern life dictates we wear isn't something that feels abnormal; besides, nudity isn't wrong or taboo and when we were cave people it was seen as the norm.

I'm not sure I'd want to be a home nudist all the time but my partner and I certainly don't wear anything when we go to bed and I've been known to water my garden out the back (which is totally private) without the obstruction of a skerrick of clothing - (What a great word skerrick is huh?)

I certainly don't judge my mate of course, he's living his best life and I think more people should do the same no matter what that entails...provided that in doing so no one else is harmed or disadvantaged. he's not an exhibitionist and isn't into being naked in public, at the beach for instance, but he's not harming anyone by doing it in his own home right?

I thought I'd bring up the topic and see what some of y'all thought. If you want to comment on home nudism, or talk about some of the habits you have in your own home please go ahead, maybe even nudism in general. Share your opinions, examples and reasons if you'd like to and if you want to take some nude images of yourself and post them you're able to do that as well of course - I'll drop some votes commensurate to what I see there.
