I had an idea to do a little series of posts about things I've learned and applied to my personal and professional life - lately it's been successful versus unsuccessful. I'll keep these posts quite short but hope someone reads something they can fit into their own life of they can use to good effect, or which prompts a response in the comments.
Successful people and unsuccessful people
Successful: Read daily and seek continual improvement and keep a journal
Unsuccessful: Engage in unproductive entertainment and don't record their wins/losses thoughts and feelings
Successful: Talk about and share ideas openly and help others succeed and excel
Unsuccessful: Fear change and have a know-it-all mentality
Successful: Happy, friendly and have a meaningful-life-ethos with set goals and plans to reach them
Unsuccessful: Dream, hope and wish rather than setting goals and devising plans to attain them
We all define success differently and even within our own lives what we see as success at work may be different to how we perceive it in our relationships, social lives, sporting endeavours, mindset and so on.
This is the second part of nine elements that differentiate successful and unsuccessful people and I'm interested in your thoughts. What success have you personally found and how do you define success in your life? Feel free to comment below, it doesn't have to be a long comment, just one with substance if possible.
