Reading this made me uncomfortable in a good way. It forced me to look at myself, not just “leaders” or “systems.” I can see how often I complain about corruption or selfishness, yet still benefit from small compromises because “that’s how things work.” It’s easier to point at tyrants than to admit how often we move toward the same behaviour on a smaller scale. Change doesn’t start with overthrowing a system, but with resisting the temptation to become a mini version of what we hate.
