Without history, the present cannot be understood. Because the story does not die, but it changes its use. If you no longer need it to save or to judge, it can become wisdom.
Both on a personal and collective level, memory allows us to develop knowledge and awareness, both of our temporality and of our time and context.
To live up to date is to deny our human condition as time that passes in a dynamic and changing continuity, with its burden of past-present and future expectations.
Life ceases to be an echo and begins to become real. For example: an afternoon of coffee with a good friend, your partner, full of stories.
To live is to rewrite. When I say this I mean that we are constantly interpreting life and re-interpreting our past based on what happens to us.
Today we thought something about our parents, partner, bosses and friends. But as we go through life we change the way we look at those lived events.
There is nothing more powerful in life than a good gossip from the corner of your house because the one who gossips carries, deep down, his own weight of the unlived life. He is the typical asshole, who does not look inward, because he does not take consciousness, he continues to judge and criticize.
This leads us to think that we need to be less harsh with the interpretation that we sometimes make in the present and know that time usually helps us to put everything in its place.
The wisest thing is to look at yourself in the mirror, but do not comb the mirror, do not try to fix the reflected image. Life does not wait and the mirror never lies and that time sooner or later takes us to one place. To the encounter with ourselves.
Meanwhile, you will miss the essentials, your own shoes, your feet on the road, your unique and true walk.
What do you think? Does our view of things change over time?Do you want to start living? Then stop looking for answers in others, looking for a perfect image of yourself that never existed.
Close the circle of obeying without question and open the space to listen to yourself. Take out the magnifying glass and look at yourself, honestly. What you don't like, change it. What you are not, let go. Triumph over your own complexes, but do it, even if you make a mistake on the way.
Stories are always missing a foot and it is you who will give it meaning according to what you need from it.
You're worth it. And you don't need anyone to confirm it to you. There will always be those who try to treat us as little, the problem is that we somehow accept it. In fact, they even ignore us, and we assume that we are not important enough, that we do not fill those shoes or have what to satisfy other people's expectations. This is when I say “and self-esteem by when?”.
