As a US Citizen, I see the decline of our global power as inevitable at this point. But I am worried about how we will handle it. Will we decline quietly; putting up the chairs and sweeping the floor on our way out? Or will we demand to remain in our dominant position; attempting to use whatever influence we have left to strongarm the rest of the world. I suppose the answer is that we as a people are yet to make that future, and it is on myself and my neighbors to decide.
