I’m not thinking of moving there at this point, only visiting for a while. When went before and planned to live there, was pretty shortsighted and just on tourist visa doing visa runs - which isn’t as easy since they’ve been cracking down on that recently. There are definitely a number of differenr legit visa options - just depends on which would fit an individual’s situation. The “dodgy” rep might just be because policies have tended to change kinda unpredictably & rapidly, which not everyone loves, but there’s still alot of people managing well once setup with the appropriate arrangements.
