Even in cemented cracks, life persists. Herb-Robert, wild and quietly resilient. A photograph by me early today.
A few experiences in life sparked these thoughts. They came to mind as soon as I woke up today, and I thought I’d write them down quickly, because normally, if I don’t, they disappear once the daily work and tasks take over.
I’ve noticed how easy it can be for people to lean heavily on “the book” nowadays. It sometimes feels like fewer people fully trust their own situation, instinct, and spatial awareness anymore.
If you let rules and books govern every part of your life, you risk losing your creativity, your discoveries, and your freedom to think for yourself. You become limited instead of growing, learning, improving, and enhancing the gifts and abilities you already possess.
As human beings, we are far more powerful than we often realise. We are equipped with incredible abilities that simply need to be explored and developed. Most of the time, you’ll never know what you are capable of unless you try.
So be free-minded. Even in a world full of rules, you can still find freedom in your own small ways. Use books and information to expand your knowledge and sharpen your skills, but never let them become a barrier that restricts what you can use, create, explore, or enjoy.
Trust your senses. Trust your experience. Humans naturally have the ability to think outside the box, and that is where creativity, innovation, and discovery are born.
Mistakes can happen, but learn from them. Life will always bring challenges. Stress will always be there; ride through it and use it as fuel. You’ll be amazed at how those very things can take you somewhere you never thought you’d reach. Growth often comes from the hardest moments, and sometimes the struggles we resist the most end up building our strength, creativity, and direction in life.
I hope this makes sense, just a self-reminder, one of those mornings.
Enjoy your day, everyone!
