Is there anyone who truly understands the mystery behind the sea, how it came into existence? I do not think we can fully answer that, unless we simply say that nature bestowed it upon us as a gift. Most of what we, as human beings, leverage today has been presented to us by nature.
Nature is the father of the universe.
Nothing comes into existence by chance. There is always a supernatural power and hand behind it. Nothing in nature happens by mistake. It is something given to us for the benefit of the human race, yet humans often fail to acknowledge the intelligence behind these mysteries. You wake up only to discover that some people did not, though they were alive the day before. Their time has simply come to an end, without any specific reason or explanation that we can comprehend. And life goes on.
I was by the seaside today, and as I watched the waves, I marvelled at the glory of God. I questioned why some people say there is no God. I wondered what makes the sea keep roaring nonstop without getting tired. Some may say it is simply nature doing what it does. However, how nature itself came into existence remains a profound subject of study. I spent almost two hours by the seaside at night, amazed in my heart by the Supreme Being who made the heavens. I could not help but acknowledge Him more deeply, the Owner of the universe, the Unchangeable Changer, the Most Glorious One, the One who does what no one can question.
You could see the palm trees by the seaside swaying, almost as though they were dancing and clapping their hands. It was marvellous. It is not that I have not experienced this before, but today’s experience was beyond what words can express. It was overwhelming. Then I looked up at the sky, and beyond the clouds stretched a vast covering over the earth, so expansive that one could not see its end. You could only see a part of it.
Life is full of mysteries.
There are many questions about the existence of the human race that keep people wondering. Imagine twins born of the same parents, yet they do not exhibit the same behaviour. Consider friends using the same ingredients to prepare a meal, yet the meals taste different. Or two friends seeking help from the same herbalist, receiving the same portion for their life predicaments, yet one succeeds while the other struggles. It is simply the nature of the world.
Life is only for a moment.
Life is too short to hold on to grudges all the time. The ephemeral nature of the world should teach us not to take life too seriously, but instead to live in peace with all people. Yet what do we see in our world? A war of strength and power, who is more powerful, who is wealthier? The truth is that no one will leave this world alive, whether we like it or not. Why not live the best life that is offered to us and dwell in peace and harmony?
Death will come for us all.
We are not different from animals when it comes to death. The same fate befalls us all. As one dies, so will another. Death can come at any time without prior notice. It comes like a thief in the night. It is the great equaliser of all humanity, rich or poor, tall or short, influential or unknown. The same fate awaits everyone.
Nature is the one thing we all share equally and in abundance.
