In this one life we have, we must live it to the fullest and try not to leave room for regrets. We came into this world with nothing, and we will certainly leave with nothing. The way I see life, it is like a journey and a marketplace where everyone comes to buy and sell, and after a while, everyone returns home. I do not think anyone remains behind in the marketplace unless maybe someone who is not mentally stable, and that would only be a very small percentage of the people who visited such a market.
We can only try our best. There is nothing in this world worth dying for. If it is because of a woman, she will eventually move on with another man after a while. If it were a man too, it is just vice versa. That is why we should not kill or harm someone because we want something out of life. If the purpose of acquiring wealth is to oppress people, then I do not think it is worth it. Also, if getting money has to come at the cost of pulling other people down, then it is not worth it. Life comes in phases, and humans are at different stages in their journey to get what they want out of life.

From everything I have learned and seen in life, I realized that you really cannot have it all. One reason for this is that there will always be someone above you whom you want to be like, or there will be pressure from trying not to fall once you have risen.
The popular saying that “the rich also cry” should be looked into deeply. Many wealthy people also face one problem or another. A lot of responsibility comes with being rich and wealthy. You have to keep maintaining that status so as not to fall or go bankrupt. In my locality, you will hear something like, “Ipa da bo olowo si talaka ko rọrun,” meaning the downfall of a rich person into poverty is terrible, and nobody wants to find themselves in such a situation.
Sometimes, what people see from afar is not true. Most times, we predict and assume too much about things we are not even sure of. We assume someone is rich and wealthy because of what we see, whereas when we move closer, we realize that it was not even true from the beginning.
Today, when I went out to get something at the junction, I saw how everyone was busy doing one thing or another as they all tried to make a living. Nobody needs to wake them up in the morning because their responsibilities will do that for them. You cannot have a child and a wife at home who need to eat, and then sleep for too long without making provision for them.
When I board a vehicle and look at the faces of people around me, I can see that many are struggling and simply living life the best way they can. You can see tiredness written clearly on some faces. That is why it is not good to rub things in people’s faces or waste resources simply because you have them in abundance.
Life has a way of humbling all of us. If it is not through ourselves, then it may be through one of our family members who needs assistance. It could be health issues, marital problems, childbearing challenges, among many other things. We are all simply living life. Some people enjoy life anyway, and for that, it is in God’s hands. If you acquire everything in this world but do not have the health to enjoy it, would you blame God?
In all, we should be grateful and look back to appreciate our growth and every other thing life has bestowed upon us.
