Two months and a week have gone into the new year, with positive energy. Right?
I hope we keep moving with the same energy, keeping in mind what we need to achieve as the year goes by, day after day.
The previous years might not have been all smooth and sweet. Of course, we had some good experiences and a couple of unexpected ones that caused sad moments, but hey!... they are stepping stones for what lies ahead.
In all, practising gratitude and being intentional about it is truly healing, and there is more to experience in little gestures.
The experiences of the past expose us to the lessons learnt, reveal the inner strength we never knew existed, and foster growth in the necessary areas.
Some things happen for a reason we may not understand at the moment, but we will realise later, which will make a whole lot of sense in our journey in life.
Sometimes we do not get to choose the events we want to play out in our lives, but still, we are sometimes the reason we experience some of them, because of our thoughts, mindset, and decisions we make.
This year, 2026, we can decide to do better.
On a normal day, I would not pick a book to read from start to finish, even though I love reading articles online. Well, I can do that with books having small pages. But then, if I need to know more, I have to read more.
I found out something about reading and flipping pages one at a time; it could be therapeutic, you know. You can be relaxing on your couch, sipping a drink (even water), and flipping those pages, understanding and imagining a total transformation.
So yeah, I have some books to read this year and would bring them your way one book review at a time. After having a little chat with on Threads when he shared how many books he was able to read in 2025, I was motivated. I bought an additional book to add to the ones I had on my list for this year.
At the moment, appreciate the past because they are stairs to the present and go out, don't stop moving to live more.
We attract to ourselves what we think without even knowing it. You know, right?
Doing and sharing what one loves is healing, enjoyable and leading to the right direction of having a satisfied and joyful life. It also reveals to others what is relatable, which heals them, too.
It creates an opportunity for more growth, which is desirable. Taking this path has been decided and I look forward to what it will birth.
The moment you realise you need to start because it's not too late at that moment, just start, take that first step, because the next time you remember or realise you could have started, you might have lost a great opportunity.
There were signs in the past, then some life events occurred, and now in the present moment, actions need to be taken to live more. Let out all the fear and let the Lord lead.
If the idea is there and the vision is clear, it's like 80% of the work is done. What will be will be.
