On May 22, the Global Pizza Party took place in different parts of the world; as we all know, more than 500 locations came together at the same time—it was an epic event, all coordinated by Pizza Dao, as it has been for several years now.
Here in Yucatán, Mexico, it has been held for the past three years—, if I’m not mistaken. I’ve attended three, including this year’s, always striving to connect Hive with more people. This year was special because, for the first time in southeastern Mexico, Hive played a key role in organizing the event.
More than just a collaboration, we had the opportunity to showcase Hive to the student community at the Polytechnic University of Yucatán, which currently has nearly 600 students enrolled in programs related to the tech sector, programming, app development, and blockchain technologies.
Over 100 people attended that day, including students and the general public. The event was hosted by 
Hive account@alexpalomomx, a friend I’ve known for several years who invited me to participate and collaborate on the Global Pizza Party and was also one of the first to learn about our project for the anniversary celebration of our community [Hive Yucatán](https://peakd.com/c/hive -126376/created).
The team of volunteers who helped us put on the event included the Hive-ians

Hive account@gr33nm4ster. Together, we pulled off a great event, which I’ll summarize below. I hope you all ate plenty of pizza on May 22, and I hope you enjoy the short video I’m sharing with you—it’s also being promoted on my Web2 social media accounts.

El día 22 de mayo se realizó en diferentes partes del mundo la Global Pizza Party donde como todos sabemos mas de 500 sedes se sincronizaron en un punto, fue algo épico todo esto coordinado por Pizza Dao como ya ha sido desde hace varios años.
Aquí en Yucatán México se ha realizado durante 2 años anteriores con este sería el 3ro si no estoy mal, yo he asistido a 3 con el de este año, siempre tratando de conectar Hive con mas personas y este año fue especial, pues por primera vez en el sureste Mexicano Hive tuvo un papel fundamental en la realización del el evento.
Mas que una colaboración tuvimos la oportunidad de mostrarle a la comunidad estudiantil de la Universidad Politécnica de Yucatán que actualmente tiene matriculados casi 600 estudiantes en carreras todas afines al sector Tech, programación, desarrollo de aplicaciones y tecnologías Blockchain.
Ese día asistieron mas de 100 personas entre estudiantes y publico en general, en el evento fue Host Hive account@alexpalomomx quien es un amigo que conozco desde hace algunos años y quien me invitó a participar y colaborar en el Global Pizza Party y también uno de los primeros en enterarse del proyecto que tenemos hacia la celebración del aniversario de nuestra comunidad .
En el equipo de voluntarios que estuvo apoyándonos para realizar el evento estuvieron los Hive-ians Hive account@konchix Hive account@sweetgemstone Hive account@cryptonautas Hive account@gr33nm4ster todos juntos logramos un performance que a continuación les resumo espero que el 22 de mayo hayan comido mucha pizza, y espero disfruten el short que les comparto, ese también está siendo promocionado en mis redes sociales Web2.

For the event, we made a preliminary visit to the pizzeria 
Hive account@pizza382.mid, which involved transportation costs and some budget allocation. During that visit, we successfully onboarded the business, which is very enthusiastic about Web3 technology, and we will soon return to integrate them into the SpendHBD project with Distriator.
We spent money on transportation to the university that day and on printing the necessary materials (QR codes, stickers) for the activity where we replicated the process of making a transaction for a good in real life, just as we did in 2010. All that money that came out of 
Hive account@hiveyucatan’s wallet and mine in some cases totaled approximately 50 HBDs.
As for the 
Hive account@checkinwith.xyz apps we used, each person received a value of 0.90 HBD plus 0.30 in Satoshis, which amounts to a total of $48 from a total of 38 verified accounts with authorized ambassadors, plus 2 that were used for testing.
Para el evento tuvimos 1 visita previa a la pizzería Hive account@pizza382.mid lo que implicó transporte y algo de presupuesto, en esa visita se logró el onboarding del negocio el cual es muy entusiasta en la tecnología Web3 y próximamente regresaremos para su integración al proyecto SpendHBD con Distriator.
Gastamos en transporte hacia la Universidad ese día y en la impresión de material necesario (Codigos QRs, Stikers) para la dinámica donde replicamos el hecho de hacer una transacción por un bien en la vida real así como en el 2010, todo ese dinero que salió de la wallet de Hive account@hiveyucatan y de la mía en algunos casos fue un total aproximado de 50 HBDs.
Por el lado de las aplicaciones que usamos de Hive account@checkinwith.xyz recibieron un valor de .90 HBD mas .30 en Satoshis, cada persona lo cual hace un total de $48 de una total de 38 cuentas verificadas con embajadores autorizados mas 2 que se usaron de prueba.
As you can see in this graph, these are the total number of people who were verified through the Checkinwith system. Of these, the business Hive account@pizza382.mid was able to process a total of 25 transactions; due to logistical issues, we were unable to complete the 38 that had already been verified.
We also used the 
Hive account@hivedebit DApp to process business transactions, currently using QR code technology, but soon we’ll be using NFC-compatible devices—and why not?—perhaps with instant purchases, as we’ve achieved in Colombia with the help of a third-party provider, WOMPI.
Both Dapps worked flawlessly, and I’d like to thank 
Hive account@starkerz and his team for their support in ensuring everything went off without a hitch.
Como se puede ver en esta grafica esos son las personas totales que fueron verificadas con el sistema de Checkinwith de las cuales el negocio Hive account@pizza382.mid logro realizar un total de 25 transacciones por cuestiones de logística no pudimos completar los 38 que ya se habían verificado.
También usamos la Dapp Hive account@hivedebit haciendo las transacciones del negocio, por ahora con la tecnología QR pero próximamente ya usando Dispositivos compatibles con tecnología NFC y porque no ? talvez con compras instantáneas como lo logramos en Colombia con ayuda de un tercero que es WOMPI.
Ambas Dapps funcionaron sin ningún detalle y agradezco a Hive account@starkerz y a su equipo al apoyo para que todo se haya realizado sin ningún detalle.

We also use the 
Hive account@hiveblocks-es team’s “Hello Hive” section for creating new accounts because we firmly believe that no other project is as well-founded, with such a solid foundation centered on Web 3 education—especially now with their Academy, which is undoubtedly something any Hive-ian new to the blockchain world would appreciate.
We congratulate the HiveBlocks-es team for providing such a much-needed space filled with user-friendly tools for the learning and development of new and not-so-new Hive-ians.
On the Hive side, 
Hive account@keychain was used, as expected, to manage and demonstrate how to explore Dapps within Hive. It worked flawlessly, and we know that 
Hive account@stoodkev and the team continue to work on its development, progress, and, of course, its updates, which remain timely and consistent.
Nothing further to report for now, and we’re already working on the upcoming workshops we’ll be holding at our first commercial partner in the area, the pizzeria Hive account@pizza382.mid, on creating content within Hive and Dapps that appeal to the community.

Igualmente usamos el apartado de Hola Hive del equipo de Hive account@hiveblocks-es para la creación de cuentas nuevas porque creemos firmemente que no hay otro proyecto tan bien fundamentado con bases solidas centradas en la educación Web 3, sobre todo ahora con su Academia que es sin lugar a dudas algo que hubiera valorado cualquier Hive-ian que inicia en este mundo Blockchain.
Felicitamos al equipo de HiveBlocks-es por tener tan necesario espacio lleno de herramientas muy amigables para el aprendizaje y desarrollo de los nuevos y no tan nuevos Hive-ians.
Por parte de Hive Hive account@keychain fue usada como era de esperarse para poder gestionar y mostrar como explorar las Dapps dentro de Hive. Funcionó sin detalle y sabemos que Hive account@stoodkev y el equipo sigue trabajando en su desarrollo, avance y claro en sus actualizaciones que siguen siendo puntuales y constantes.
