As I walked along the Canal footpath Today, I noticed a long "narrow boat" slowly passing me. So I quickly opened my Smartphone and snapped this image (below). They don't often operate along this stretch of the Canal as there are so many locks to negotiate (which takes a long time to open the "lock gate").
So I was happy to see this Canal boat Today, the first one I've seen in a very long time. I see more many more in the Summer though, than any other time of year. Some things are worth waiting for in England I think!
