I used to write papers for a living. Other people's papers. For school.
"Isn't that illegal?" I was always asked.
The answer?
No.
Not for me. The lawbreakers are the ones passing off my hard work as their own.
What I was doing was unethical. But I was just trying to make a living without having a damned boss. Nothing unethical about trying to stay sane.
Come to find out, spending day after day writing research papers for other people is an excellent way to go mad.
