Water lilies are amongst my favorite flowers. I find them difficult to photograph for different reasons. They are in the middle of the pond, the light is too bright or too dim. I made many unsuccessful attempts in the past.
One day, we were leaving late and I couldn't avoid to take a shot. It was a surprise when this turned out to be one of the most successful. The flowers in the picture were growing in a pond in the building were my office was. This must have been around ten years ago.
I took the photo with my Kodak EasyShare V1003 –flash enabled– and edited it with Snapseed.
