I've lived in Florida for the better part of my life and every once in a while you catch an alligator in the wrong place. Sometimes it makes for a great photo opportunity like this one I was able to catch while on break from work for a few moments. I was standing over the top of a cement culvert opening looking for what I heard was an alligator in our tiny little pond fed by a drainage canal. After looking for a couple minutes I looked down and saw the little guy. As long as I was above him he he had no idea i was there.
Right place at the right time I guess. Judging from the size of his head it was about 3 to 4 feet long. Taken with my Samsung phone so its not a professional photo.
