Hello Hivers!
Happy New Year to all of you on this 2nd day of 2022! Hope everyone is fine after celebrating the turn of the new year. Today, I am sharing the beautiful sunrise in our mountain area. I guess I am fortunate to see the sun rising at breakfast. When we arrived in Andalusia last October, the position of the sun was far more on the left side of this image and as the days of Fall and Winter passed-by.... the sunrise keep moving towards the right side in this image and that is towards the South.
And as we reach Spring and Summer, the darkness will disappear and the sun will rise somewhere from the southern part of the Mediterranean Sea going to the West. The days will be brighter and will become longer as Summer approaches. Could you imagine having the sunset at 10:00 PM? At this time of the sun setting, its rays will appear on the northern side of our house passing thru in one of the windows. Tourists coming to have their vacay in Southern Spain enjoy the longer days and have more fun on the beach. But, the consequent is, the heat might not be bearable for some of the sun seekers because sometimes the temperatures in Summer rise up to more than 40°C.
