In recent times, I have personally been closely following the cryptocurrency market, and the truth is that, even after years of observing this ecosystem, it continues to surprise many times in a positive way, but also in a negative way due to its high volatility.
Let's take a good look at the most important currency currently in May 2025, Bitcoin has once again shown some strength, if we look at it it has surpassed 105 thousand dollars.
Now let's see the reasons for this price increase. If we look closely, this appreciation will have been driven by important economic and geopolitical developments, with mutual agreements between the main great powers and this seems to have been the main cause. But we have to keep in mind that volatility is always a big presence and we have to always think about it in our minds.
Let's now look at another altcoin, such as Ethereum, for example. With its constant updates, it reinforces its position as a reference platform for smart contracts.
One of the cryptocurrencies that I like the most, being one of my favorites, is Solana, which has been recovering some potential in recent times.
Now let's look at the perspective of beginners in this crypto world and the main advice for them is the issue of security which continues to be a challenge. I still see many stories of people losing their assets due to lack of knowledge or negligence in protecting their portfolios. And I'm not just talking about beginners because there are even stories of people who, after a few years in this world, still let their guard down and often for this reason lose everything, or almost everything, since many already feel confident and neglect security and the principles of being in this world of crypto.
Honestly, in my opinion, I believe that the true value of the crypto market lies in its ability to give people more control and freedom over their assets, and this is a great advantage, but we have to keep in mind that this has to be combined with great responsibility.
Before making any investment, I advise everyone to gather as much information as possible. They should not get caught up in the hype of a currency that is rising and rising, and put all their investment there. Instead, they should know the project, the developers, and the usefulness of the currency they want to invest in well. It is up to us to do our homework before investing.

Hoje vamos fazer uma reflexão sobre o mercado das cryptomoedas e este ano de 2025 que estamos a viver.
Nestes últimos tempos, tenho pessoalmente acompanhado de perto o mercado do cripto moedas, e a verdade é que, mesmo depois de anos a observar este ecossistema, ele continua a surpreender muitas vezes pela positiva, mas também pela negativa devido a sua alta volatilidade.
Vamos ver bem em relação a moeda mais importante atualmente em maio de 2025, o Bitcoin voltou a mostrar alguma força, se virmos o mesmo superou os 105 mil dólares.
Agora vamos ver quais os motivos para que tenha acontecido este aumento de preço se virmos bem esta valorização terá sido impulsionada por desenvolvimentos económicos e geopolíticos importantes, com mútuos acordos entre as principais grandes potências e este parece ter sido assim a principal causa. Mas temos de ter em conta que a volatilidade é sempre uma grande presença e temos de pensar sempre nisso na nossa mente.
Vamos ver agora por exemplo de outra altcoin que é o caso do Ethereum, com as suas constantes atualizações, reforça a sua posição como plataforma de referência para contratos inteligentes.
Uma das cryptomoedas que mais gosto sendo uma das minhas preferidas é a Solana tem vindo a recuperar algum potencial nos últimos tempos.
Agora vamos ver na perspetiva dos iniciantes neste mundo criptográfico e principais conselhos para os mesmos é a questão da segurança que continua a ser um desafio. Ainda vejo demasiadas histórias de pessoas que perdem os seus ativos por falta de conhecimento ou por negligência na proteção das suas carteiras. E não falo apenas de iniciantes porque mesmo existem histórias de pessoas que com alguns anos deste mundo ainda baixam a guarda e muitas das vezes por esse motivo perdem tudo, ou quase tudo, já que muitos se sentem já confiantes, e descuram a segurança e os princípios para estarmos neste mundo das crypto.
Sinceramente na minha opinião acredito que o verdadeiro valor do mercado cripto está na sua capacidade de dar às pessoas mais controlo e liberdade sobre os seus ativos e isso é uma grande vantagem, mas temos de ter em conta que isso tem de ser aliado a uma grande responsabilidade.
Antes de qualquer investimento aconselho todos a recolher a máxima informação, não devem de entrar no hype de uma moeda que está a subir e subir , e colocar lá todo o investimento, mas sim deve-se conhecer bem o projeto, os desenvolvedores, e qual a utilidade da moeda que estamos a querer investir e isso cabe a nós próprios fazermos esse trabalho de casa antes do investimento.
