Beautiful Mountain Range of Valais

Hello lovely Hiveans !

As some of you already know, I recently relocated to Switzerland with my family. I found a really cool job here, so we had to think about this step 🤔 .. Most people would think at least twice about such a big step, but as my wife is not working at the moment, my son is still four years old, and there is no family left for us, we did not mind to leave our old life behind. In addition, we are living in a real paradise now, especially for me, a huge lover of mountains and snow, it feel like a dream came true 🏔️ .. There are many more positive aspects, but this is not the time for discussing it again 😉 .. Instead, I will dedicate this post to the awesome and breathtaking landscape that we have from where we are living now 👀 .. As I will start my work next week, I like to show this to you at least before my account goes silent for a few weeks again while I will be busy 🤗

Gondola Lift to Heaven

In this area, there are gorgeous mountains wherever you take a look. To get to the top of the mountain ranges, there are several gondola lifts around. One of these is located just 10 minutes from our place. Here you can see it coming down to fetch me and my son for our very first mountain hike 🚠

It appears that the mountain in the picture is quite low, but it actually only shows a tiny bit of the whole way up to the top. We did not stop the time, but I assume that we were riding approximately 10 minutes until we arrived. We were awaited by an awesome sight along the mountain range .. 🏔️👀 .. 😍

The Western Side

To get an impression of how the area looks, I took some pictures to the western side, as well as to the eastern side. Let's start with the western side and a little panorama picture.

I can't even detect how long the mountains are prolonging to the direction, but it seems endless 😱 .. And if you that these are just the outer cliffs and there are tremendously large areas on the top and other side's too, with lakes, caves and more, it's an unbelievably beautiful area to be explored in the coming years .. I love it 😍

The Eastern Side

The views to the eastern side is not less spectacular and seems to be endless too. The valley in-between the two ranges is more narrow and somewhere in-between is the place where we are living at. It's a small village with less then 800 people living there and a very beautiful one. I assume that in the first year, we will have met all people there 😂

So far we have already seen the winter, my favourite season by the way, but I expect that the other seasons will be very eye-catching as well.

First View / First Impression

This is so far what I can offer to you for an first impression and view on the area. There will be definitely more to come in the future as this is a really large area, full of mountain romance and awesome not yet by us discovered places in-between. I am also planning to finally buy myself a good camera for increasing my picture quality and to tune the family photo book pictures 😁 .. But I have to get used to my new job first, so you need to be patient for more post 😜 .. Nevertheless, I had to give you this little peek into this little paradise !
