Hello friends.
I'm not a wizard or a magician, I'm just learning to be one.
This post is my application for an Amazing Nature Contest: Thematic Challenge - #2/11/21 - "NOVEMBER".
A little walk through the November forest after a light snowfall.
On Thursday, snow fell from the sky all day. On Friday, friends said that it would be warm again and the snow would melt. But the weather forecast said the opposite. On Saturday, the air temperature began to drop sharply down, because the wind was from the north and carried the cold with it.
This morning I took a little walk in the woods, breathed fresh frosty air. They say that walking through the pine forest is very useful, the air is saturated with oxygen and ozone.
I believe this statement because after such walks I breathe easily and I feel very good.
I thought all the leaves of the rowan had fallen to the ground. But while walking through the forest, I saw that I was wrong. And in the city all the trees are bare. Not quite, of course, there are still a lot of berries, but the birds have already started pecking at them.
These are small wild apples. The snow melted a little, and the water immediately froze and icicles formed on each small apple.
Pine forest.I am used to the fact that in a pine forest the trees stand at a great distance from each other as if they obey the law on protection from covid-19, and in this forest, the pines interfere with each other and their lower parts dry up. But it is very pleasant to walk along this little path. I looked around and looked for frozen mushrooms, but I didn't see any. When I walked through this forest last time, I could see late mushrooms that are not included in my list of edible mushrooms.
You can see that even the needles turn yellow. Why are they turning yellow? I think the trees lack moisture. The summer was dry, and the sand does not hold moisture well, so the trees quietly die. And there are not many cones on the tree either.
Free-standing trees have fluffy needles. And the snow covered them as if it was already deep winter outside.
Yes, by the way, but November is different from November. Sometimes at this time, the snow reaches a height of 20-30 cm and we can already ski through the forest. I have already seen skiers this year, but these are the most fans. Basically, they are still walking through the forest with their feet. Well, someone is holding Scandinavian sticks in their hands.
Once it was a fir tree. But for some reason, it has deteriorated from the inside. Maybe she was struck by bark beetles and "ate" her from the inside. It is clearly visible that the inside of the tree has turned into dust.
All good things come to an end. So my walk is coming to an end. But winter is just beginning. Such is the paradox.
Take care of Nature. Think about future generations, friends.
