The grasshopper is an insect that many of us see but do not appreciate in detail and that is why today I bring you several pictures of a cricket that I was able to save from my cat who had taken it. As you can see this cricket is bright green, with long bent legs unlike other insects such as bees or ants that have short legs.
Its paws are much more robust than its front paws, of course... to jump. It lives in front of my house in a small meadow where there is an ecosystem where this insect makes life, usually grasshoppers walk in the afternoon (my cat just brought it at that time) and its bright green color mimics the green of the grass that is also its main source of food.
The grasshopper itself, is divided into; head, thorax (where 2 pairs of legs emerge) and abdomen. usually live in tropical areas in my case, I live in the tropics so their sighting is facilitated even more ... I thought it was good to show to value these magnificent insects that we can find in the day to day.
