Uno de los lugares más occidentales de mi país es la Península de Guanacahabibes, que si eres amante de la naturaleza y nos visitas no debes pasar por alto poder pasar por aquí. Hay una gran diversidad de plantas, aves, reptiles, mamíferos e invertebrados. Es considerado por todo lo antes dicho como Reserva de la Biosfera y cómo área protegida. Hace unos años tuve la oportunidad de estar en Pinar del Rio, provincia a la cual pertenece y junto a mi novio visitamos el lugar. fue un sueño cumplido, después de un largo viaje en auto y ver cientos y miles de mariposas en todo el camino, me quedaba enamorada de todo el trayecto. Llegamos a las playas donde había un poblado e incluso hay casa de alquiler para los turistas que quieran quedarse unos días en la zona y esta esta el Faro Roncoli muy famoso y muy cerca hay sitios atractivo para el buceo por la presencia de embarcaciones hundidas donde existen grandes colonias de peces y arrecifes coralinos.Yo sin duda no lo pensaría dos veces.
One of the westernmost places in my country is the Guanacahabibes Peninsula, which if you are a nature lover and you visit us you should not overlook to pass by here. There is a great diversity of plants, birds, reptiles, mammals and invertebrates. It is considered a Biosphere Reserve and a protected area. A few years ago I had the opportunity to be in Pinar del Rio, province to which it belongs and with my boyfriend we visited the place. It was a dream come true, after a long trip by car and seeing hundreds and thousands of butterflies along the way, I was in love with the whole journey. We reached the beaches where there was a village and there is even a house for rent for tourists who want to stay a few days in the area and there is the famous Roncoli Lighthouse and nearby there are attractive sites for diving for the presence of sunken ships where there are large colonies of fish and coral reefs. I certainly wouldn't think twice about it.
