Les quiero contar sobre el día que nos despedimos de mis amigas Puchi y Laura que vinieron a visitarme unos 10 días a mi casa (Córdoba, Argentina). Este día decidimos llevarlas a la provincia de San Luis que es donde seguirían sus vacaciones pero está vez con su familia.
Toda la provincia de Córdoba es increíblemente hermosa, las carreteras están rodeadas de naturaleza, entre montañas, montes y ríos, cada kilómetro recorrido es digno de apreciar.
I want to tell you about the day we said goodbye to my friends Puchi and Laura who came to visit me for about 10 days at my house (Córdoba, Argentina). This day we decided to take them to the province of San Luis, which is where they would continue their vacations but this time with their family.The entire province of Córdoba is incredibly beautiful, the roads are surrounded by nature, between mountains, mountains and rivers, each kilometer traveled is worth appreciating.
Para cruzar a la provincia de San Luis, hay que pasar por las imponentes Altas Cumbres. Éstas son un sistema montañoso en donde corre la carretera que une a estas provincias.
Al ser un punto tan alto, las postales son majestuosas y dignas de para a un costado de la carretera para apreciar estos paisajes como se debe!.
Al llegar al punto más alto de la montaña, no pudimos tomar fotos. Pues el clima estaba muy húmedo y literalmente estuvimos largo rato cruzando a través de una espesa nube. Parecía que habíamos entrado a otra dimensión. Lo único visible era el interior del auto. Luego, todo completamente blanco.
To cross to the province of San Luis, you have to go through the imposing Altas Cumbres. These are a mountainous system where the highway that connects these provinces runs. Being such a high point, the postcards are majestic and worthy of stopping on the side of the road to appreciate these landscapes as it should!Upon reaching the highest point of the mountain, we were unable to take photos. Well, the weather was very humid and we literally spent a long time crossing through a thick cloud. It seemed that we had entered another dimension. The only thing visible was the inside of the car. Then everything completely white.
En la bajada, finalizando la gran nube, todo se despejó y decidimos estacionar el auto en la orilla para contemplar tan hermosa postal!
Fue muy muy emocionante porque en estas fechas en el año pasado, gran parte de las cumbres fueron comidas por el fuego en un incendio forestal que parecía no acabar nunca, el cual se llevó consigo miles y miles de hectáreas de montesy bosques nativos.
Y poder verla un año después, tan verde y radiante, simplemente me aflojó las emociones.
On the way down, ending the big cloud, everything cleared up and we decided to park the car on the shore to contemplate such a beautiful postcard! It was very very exciting because at this time last year, a large part of the peaks were eaten by fire in a forest fire that seemed to never end, which took with it thousands and thousands of hectares of mountains and native forests. And being able to see her a year later, so green and radiant, just lowered my emotions.
