Tetraponera rufonigra, is a species of ant belonging to the subfamily Pseudomyrmecinae. They are very aggressive in nature and posses well developed sting. They are active hunters and their venom causes allergic reactions in human after being stung by them.
In my second year of graduation , I was given a project on these ants and these photographs were taken during that time.
