I saw a snail shell on side the path one day. I picked it up to take some photos and then leave is somewhere in the grasses. Many of those are empty and I didn't expect to see a living snail in it.
But would you look at that :)
Even better for some shots than just a shell. I put him on a tall fence to have a good angle and he slowly started to come out. Cute little guy. Probably had no idea what is going on. He was looking around trying to escape I guess. it took just few minutes and I left him in a safe spot after.
Those are such cool, extremely photogenic and cooperative creatures. There is always time to take photos. And they will always pose well. Of course they are easy to move if needed and you don't risk getting your fingers bitten off.
Another pest that I am happy to see :)
