And I am not complaining! As they are one of the most photographs things by me.
Every time I go out with a camera I bring some more shots home. It doesn't even matter if they are alive and fresh or dry to crisp like the ones here. They always look amazing!
All the types you see here I found on one, small pear tree back in June. It was growing among much taller cork oaks so it was getting quite a bit of shade. With very rainy winter and spring the humidity + not too much direct sunlight create perfect condition for those fellas to grow.
And so on the trunk, where the bark is thicker and can hold more water I found those really nice big ones (also the photo above)!
They look almost like fur and during colder and wetter months they were pretty nice and soft. Now just dry and brittle.
Let me zoom it for ya, 'cause their texture is pretty amazing!
And then you look up at the tiny branches and they are also all covered in the grey and green beauties. If I didn't miss any, I counted a total of 5 types on just that one tree.
Now if I could only remember their names..
On those last two shots we shall also admire some bokeh :)
Yea... I am like Buzz.
I see Lichens and my eyes get bigger.
I imagine everyone else get that "WTF is that" look :p
Oh well :)
