I’m not an early riser and I don’t like to get up in the dark. Now I did make an exception, though I barely slept for 2-3 hours a night. But I thought I’d give it a try now and break out of my comfort zone. It was worth the effort because it was wonderful. The lights are very different in the morning! The weather was unusually warm by dawn (I heard the blackbirds' spring song at the bus stop!), and around 9 in the morning I had to take off my coat.
I have to say, the light in the early mornings is much nicer than at sunset. And there’s another big advantage: I got home relatively early and I even had time for other things.
Maybe I should make it a habit to get up early?
The colors and lights are simply amazing, although I didn’t use any filters for the photos.
I just picked from the 150 photos I took today. This is one series about the valley of a stream (Gaja) and I will post the other series (around the lake) tomorrow.
I did 10 kilometers on the well-known Blue hiking trail. I would have gone further, but the old signs were removed and I couldn’t find the new ones.
From today, I’m officially a "Blue hiker" anyway because I bought a certificate booklet where I can stamp at checkpoints. One or two years and I will cover the full lenght of 1,100 kilometers.
My first section was 9 kilometers, from Bodajk to Fehérvárcsurgó. I'm showing Bodajk pictures here.
