One one of my hiking trips to Salzburg I managed to take several pictures of fungi, of ot the fungies I found there is this "Calocera viscosa" which can be a very sticky fungi with a slimy texture. It is relatively large for a jelly fungus, and can reach up to ten centimetres in height. It is growing on dead tress and often in combination with moss. The contrast of the yellow to the green moss is really great in my opinion and that is why it wasn't so difficult to find. I was taking several other Macro shots of flowers, moss and other fungi when I saw it growing on a tree.
The mountains are always a great terrain to find several nice flowers, animals and fungi like these.
