Eid is often used by everyone to visit their relatives, from close relatives to closest relatives. During these moments of friendship, they are often used to travel and go on excursions to various places closest to the places their relatives are visiting.
Likewise, for me, who was there last Eid, I took advantage of the Eid moment while going on an excursion with my family to places that were popular with visitors and tourists.
Last Eid I took advantage of the moment to visit my brother who was in Takengon. Due to Eid, this time my brother couldn't return to his hometown because he had to open his shop during Eid. Usually the journey from North Aceh to Takengon only takes around 3 hours to 4 hours, but due to Eid the roads are filled with various vehicles ranging from public transportation, motorbikes to private vehicles.
As a result of Eid, the distance we have to travel reaches 5 to 6 hours due to traffic jams in various public places and also small towns on various roadsides. The trip from where I am is generally closer using the KKA road or the Mount Salak road, but due to Eid moments these roads are generally completely congested due to the large number of vehicles wanting to go to Takengon and vice versa having to go from Takengon and really going to other places. Because the road from North Aceh to Takengon has a lot of climbing when it's jammed on inclines and mountains, which often causes various accidents, I prefer to avoid traveling on that road. So that's why I prefer the route from the city of Bireuen to Takengon.
When the Shah arrived in the city of Takengon that night, my friends who had arrived in the city of Tekengon had already booked a place on the edge of the Tawar Lake. Currently, the most popular place for all visitors is to stay in tents on the edge of the Tawar Sea Lake. When we want to play for Eid or New Year, we have to book the tents the day before before we arrive in Takengon city. If we don't do this then we will never get a place to stay in the tent due to the large number of visitors who have previously booked the tent.
So that every Eid or New Year's holiday, the edge of the Freshwater lake will be seen filled with tents as a place to stay. The tents were set up so tightly that they looked like refugee tents. However, for each visitor, even though the tents are installed side by side, they are increasingly in demand and there does not appear to be any discomfort from the various visitors.
After visiting friends who were staying on the edge of the Freshwater lake while bringing them food and mineral water because it was already 03.00 at night, we returned to Takengon city again to stay overnight. In the morning, when we wanted to go back to our friend's place who was staying on the edge of Lake Laut Tawar, we had to cancel because the road to that place had a very long traffic jam.
So we looked for another alternative tourist spot, namely white water rafting. When we arrived at the white water rafting place, when we ordered tickets to climb the white water rafting tree, it turned out the tickets had already been sold out and were only available the next afternoon because many people had already booked them on the morning schedule. For friends who want to travel or go on an excursion, please come to places in Takengon. The place is safe and comfortable without being vulnerable to supplies and without having to pay multiple visits. There is only a little that I can convey as consideration for a vacation spot for friends wherever they are, that's all and thank you.
