Tengo una conexión especial con el animal que les voy a presentar hoy. Por alguna razón me los consigo en todas partes, e incluso, muchas veces he podido salvarlos de una muerte segura. Los reptiles no suelen ser muy populares entre el gusto de la gente, a la mayoría les desagradan, les dan miedo y hasta escalofríos o asco, a mí no así que no tengo ningún problema para agarrarlos y poder ver de cerca lo fascinantes que son.

I have a special connection with this animal that I'm going to present to you today. For some reason I get them everywhere, and many times I have even been able to save them from certain death. Reptiles aren't usually very popular among people, most people dislike them, they scare them and even give them chills or disgust, not me so I have no problem to hold them and see up close how fascinating they are.

Este pequeño animalito es un visitante muy frecuente en las casas y apartamentos de mi país y la gente lo llama de muchas maneras menos por su nombre original jajaja, le suelen decir "limpia casa" o "tuqueque", de hecho, casi nadie sabe que su nombre real es gecko. Los geckos comunes caseros (Hemidactylus frenatus) son reptiles y pertenecen al suborden de los saurópsidos escamosos. Hay más de 1500 especies de geckos en todo el mundo.

This little animal is a very frequent visitor in the houses and apartments of my country and people call it in many ways except by its original name hahaha, they usually calle it "cleaning house" or "tuqueque", in fact, almost nobody knows that his real name is gecko. Common house geckos (Hemidactylus frenatus) are reptiles and belong to the suborder scaly sauropsids. There are more than 1,500 species of geckos in the world.

Tenemos dos gatos en casa así que siempre que veo algún gecko cerca del piso lo agarro y lo pongo en un lugar más seguro, se que a los gatos les gusta cazarlos así que si puedo evitarlo lo hago. Hay veces que he llegado tarde ☹️ pero una vez logré salvar con vida a un gecko que ya estaba en la boca de mi gata, que puedo hacer, les tengo mucha simpatía ☺️.

We have two cats at home so whenever I see a gecko near the floor I grab it and put it in a safer place, I know that cats like to hunt them so if I can avoid it I do it. There are times I've been late ☹️ but once I managed to save a gecko alive that was already in my cat's mouth, what can I do, I have a lot of sympathy for them ☺️.

A veces siento que los geckos me persiguen porque me los encuentro con frecuencia en los lugares más insólitos, recuerdo que una vez estando en el trabajo estaba revisando algo en mi cartera y había uno adentro jajaja, seguramente me lo había traído de la casa o quién sabe de donde salió y se metió allí, menos mal que lo ví a tiempo para no lastimarlo.

Sometimes I feel like geckos are chasing me because I often find them in the most unusual places, I remember once I was at work and I was checking something in my bag and there was one inside hahaha, surely I had brought it from home or who knows where he came from and got into there, luckily I saw him on time to avoid hurt him.
