Due to human activity, natural food sources for birds, forest and wildlife are declining. Or there are periods when natural food is scarce.
In the cases described above, we can help birds and other animals with our responsible approach. You guessed it right. We have another round of Thematic Challenges with a theme
I do not mean feeding pigeons in cities or waterfowl on the levels of urban and suburban bodies of water. It's more of a scandal that many species get used to and then no longer look for natural food sources.
Your task for this challenge will be to:
- take a picture of the feeder or feeder (if you can take a picture of the birds and animals we are happy to take)
- find out and write down which species are most common in feeders
- write what kind of feeding you give to the feeders and why you think that this type of feeding is suitable
As always, a little inspiration for you :-)
This bird feeder is next to the neighbors in the garden. Because the neighbors don't live here in the winter, I bring the feed to the feeder. The most common guests are the great tit (Parus major) and sometimes the field sparrow (Passer montanus).
I usually buy a supply of flaxseed and sunflower seeds, because these types of seeds can be found by birds even when there is enough food.
Unfortunately, I couldn't take a picture of a single bird. Whenever I got a little closer to the feeding birds, they immediately flew away. I don't have photographic equipment for long-distance photography.
I wish you many wonderful moments in fulfilling this challenge
Reminder
Let me remind you that there is still an extraordinary Thematic Challenge - Over time.
